Mrs. Tomoko Maki

The daughter of a Buddhist priest, Tomoko Maki converted to Christianity under Tajuu Takiko, and soon became a member of Funehiki Evangelical Church. Her marriage To Mr. Maki was arranged by Tajuu. While the details of her father’s attitude towards her conversion and marriage are unknown, he created a beautiful hand-crafted wooden nameplate for Funehiki Evangelical Church which stands there to this day.

Tomoko-sensei (as she is known) currently works at the Kindergarten in a variety of support roles. Her background is educational in nature, so she is referred to as Tomoko-sensei.
