Wakakusa English School

The Wakakusa English School is located on the west campus of Wakakusa Gakuen in the old Kindergarten building. It is a juku, or an after-school coaching or “cram” school. Students learn basic English phonetics, writing, and vocabulary, with an overall focus or goal of conversational English ability. Occasionally it hosts test prep for English proficiency tests, most notably the STEP test. There are four foriegn English teachers who work full-time at the school under he suprevision of the headmaster, Katsuko Kawaai.
